RCTQ BOM Info + Goodbye for now!

Danielle, take care and please let us know how you go. Having been a high risk pregnancy for both my girls and having had them induced by c-section both times (27 or 28 weeks and 32 weeks), I can understand what you are going through.

Your baby will receive the best medical care available - I know that - but make sure that YOU are taken care of also, not just by the doctors but by yourself and your loved ones. If there are some people you don't feel up to seeing, have the nurses screen them for you (Lord knows I wish I'd done that!). If you have a phone in yoru room - make sure you turn the ringer down for at least 2 hours each day so you can eat/nap/quilt in peace! The phone will still ring and they'll figure you are out but you will get peace and quiet - promise me you will at least do it during lunch!!! I used to do it from 12pm - 3pm each day so as I could have lunch and watch Days of Our Lives (chronic addiction), Oprah and some cooking shows in peace. My husband knew the ritual and wouldn't panic when he couldn't reach me.

Now, take care, have fun, and most of all "don't worry"!!!

I have that same addiction, Sharon! I've been watching Days since I was in high school (going to 40th reunion in 2 weeks).

LOL - It's scary isn't it? I used to watch it in high school whenever I could and then dropped off a bit when I began work, then it stayed with me during pregnancy/delivery and beyond. I only get to watch it two days a week now (my half days at work) and during school holidays but it feels like coming home. True escapism. Mind you I would love to see Marlena killed once and for all. And give Sammy a good slap upside the head - do she and Lucas EVER get together permanently? At the mo, they were about to get married and then Austin turned up and something went wrong. And Marlena is getting very cosy with Dr North in her amnesia-escape.

Don't want to spoil it for you--but we are ahead of the storylines you are getting down under!! Yep, Sammy needs a swift kick in the backside!

Prayers on the way for you and new baby!! Be sure to take good care of you (which means sleep whenever possible) and come back when you can. Thanks so much for all you do with the BOM.

I'm only an occasional watcher.

We were about 4 years behind so had a big catch up last year (?) where we had a medley of 4 years in about a week.

What gets me is years ago 'Dr North' was Roman and the current Roman(?) was Chris Kosacheck ( I'm sure that spelling is wrong)

A know a woman about Sharons age who became addicted at school too. Her Mum used to tape the show everyday so that it could be watched after school. She now has a TV at work so that she doesn't miss it.

ROFLOL - That's going a bit far!

Thanks Dee - now I know why Dr North looks so familiar, and yes Chris Can'tspellhislastname also rings a bell. Do you think it's all a terrible plot and Dr North will become Roman and Roman will become Chris? But then who would John Black become because he's already been Roman?
