RCTQ BOM Info + Goodbye for now!

Jul 21, 2006 29 Replies

Ok, you all know that I am very pregnant, but what you don't know is that I am a high risk pregnancy with many little things that may or may not amount to anything. In looking at the measurements of the baby this week, next week the doctors will decide when to induce labor. It is possible that the baby may end up in NICU for some time, and I will be away from the group during that time if it does happen.

Either way, I am going to do up the BOM's for August and September and send them to Cappy. She will post them for me for the next couple of months so that I can concentrate on what's going on here. So keep your eyes open for those posts!

I will try to watch the group so that I can continue to see the wonderful blocks, but more than likely I will just jump to Teri's site and see the pictures and not do any posting. I hope that you all will continue to enjoy the BOM, and if I don't get to post before then, I'll be back in September! (I'll still be lurking for the next week or so!)

I kind of suspected when you said how often you were going to the Dr. BTDT... and it's stressful! Sending you VERY big cyber hugs and many prayers. Take care of yourself!!

Rest well, and best wishes for an uneventful labor and delivery!

Oh, scary, Danielle. I truly hope all will be well. Best to get the baby here if any doubt. Do look after yourselves. If you do have the baby next week, please get your DH to let us know. If the little one is in intensive care, we will want to send prayers and good thoughts for him/her - and for you, too, of course. Tell us when to start pacing the floor! . Take care, Dannielle. And do let us know how things are going.

Sounds like you're in good hands, Dannielle. Rest and take care, and kiss the little one for us. chipper

Blessings to you Dannielle, and to your little one. My thoughts and prayers will be with you for an easy and boring birth and a fat, happy baby to go right home with you. But should your baby have to spend some time in NICU, try not to be too afraid. With my first pregnancy there was a nasty complication and he was born at 33 weeks and spent four weeks in NICU and 10 months on a cardiac/apnea monitor at home. He's 19 now, 6'3", completely wonderful and normal and it seems like a million years since I was where you are now. Try not to worry. Hugs, Sunny

(((HUGS))). Take care of yourself and the little one.

Best wishes, Dannielle! Take good care of yourself and that precious little one. I hope all goes well for you.

Wishing you all the best for the rest of your pregnancy, but prem babies can and do thrive. A few of us have BTDT, I did that 16 years ago, DD was 1 lb 10 oz when she was born at 29 weeks, unfortunately my blood pressure never did get back to 'normal' LOL
