Hooooo-weeeeee! Since you don't know how long is "long term" and there's not much money, that's a tough question. This method is almost free. I begged some boxes - very heavy cardboard - that copy machine paper is shipped in. Places that do lots of copying, such as a hospital, are glad for you to carry them away. I put my stashes in sturdy plastic trash bags and then in the boxes. This is not an ideal plan but thus far, they survived heat, cold, extreme humidity and critters. We have moved twice under circumstances much like yours, once when our
2nd baby was due in a week and once when a hurricane was huffing and puffing at the shoreline. Just try to keep some of your wits about you and don't pack the strawberry ice cream in with the fabric. Sending hugs, sympathy and prayers, Polly- posted

> HaHA.
