Welcome Nick, i see you found a nice comfy chair here round the cyberquilt frame. keep your eye open for the BIG bowl of MnM's, someone has hid'em again. isp's hold the msgs for different time periods. the msg's will show on google groups forever unless you post there and mark them to be deleted after a certain period of time. not something i ever tried but i hear it works. anyone else here know bout that??? have you got pix of your quilts online anywhere for the rest of us to drool over? got any QIs? where do you hide your stash? (in case ms B wants to plan a stash raid, of course). ok ok, scoot round a bit girls and let this man have some room, good grief. jeanne

It depends on your ISP. Each sets their own retention rate. If you want to go back and see a post or thread that's already fallen off your news server you can go to Google. They archive all posts except for the ones that people request not be archived.

There is a line you can insert into your headers if you do not want google to archive your posts. Haven't a clue how you would go about it with OE.

Oh, good! We're anxious to see them! You're not the only male quilter we have around here, but most of the others are fairly quiet. I guess some of us chattier female quilters don't always let them get a word in edgewise. M&M's? I have some peanut ones here -- keep them around for one of my DGSs. Yup, *really*! ;)
