OOOH! I'd love to, but I'm off to the NEC to the quilt show, and going to help a friend celebrate her silver wedding!

Good heavens Kate, odd the friend should celebrate with her buddies! Over this side of the pond, the DH and DW celebrate their silver anniversary with each other! LOL PAT, ducking and running

The last pair of the Durham Group (we were all friends at university together) had a huge garden party: it was lovely! This couple went out for dinner, with their two lovely daughters, and this weekend they are having fun with friends. Another couple will be having a weekend long ceilidh in Northumberland! Got the holiday cottages all booked and ready! And a village hall for the hop... I shall do some food for that one! :)

I think I shall have a huge party when it's our turn!

Reminds me - got go buy a silver spoon or two for them!

Yeah, I figured you & DH would be going to a party. I just had a giggle because at first glance I thought you and your friend were off to the quilt shows for that pair's anniversary. Hey ... it is early here and I'm still on my first cuppa! Have a nice time at the party ... sounds lovely. PAT, grinning in VA/USA
