You might be able to change your setting with your printer software. My boxes are bigger than the ones from the website because I inadvertently had "print to page" or (something like that) checked. Previous boxes were smaller. I'll try to send you my bigger pattern.

Sally, I tried to send you the pattern, but it bounced. Email me directly and I'll try to reply to that. I'm pretty sure I removed the obvious from your munged email addy. Since the pattern is a scan....the file is 2MB. Is that too big to email to you?

Just a suggestion from afar, you can press the F11 button to go "full screen" which gets rid of most if not all of the toolbars. Gives you more screen real estate to work with. Then press "CTRL+P" to print the page. Press F11 again to get your toolbars back.

Thanks - it actually printed out at 3.1/2" though! I have both an 8" and a 10"+ pattern so I'm going to try these and see which I like best. I have the mini pattern I can increase in size, but just needed to know the horizontal measurement. The instructions call for an 8" square of fabric, and the 10" pattern will fit on corner to corner (forming an X).

Unfortunately Pellon is not a name used here - we have Vilene. I have two weights of the heavyish vilene, so will try both of those to see which looks best. The thickest one I have may look too thick - on the otherhand the slightly lighter one may be too light and the heavy one be right. I'll try the lighter one with the smaller box.

Thanks for the F11 hint - nice to be able to view docs on a whole screen without the toolbars.
