Re: What's your favorite?

My favorite parts of the quilt making process by far are designing the quilt and choosing the fabrics. Those are the fun, creative bits and are only frustrating if I can't find a fabric I need.

The rest--cutting, piecing, hand quilting--are more mechanical than creative, though I do enjoy the quilting.

Least favorite--mitering print borders, basting, and anything to do with BINDING.

This may have something to do with why I have a monstrous stash and so few finished quilts to my name.

Monique in TX where it needs to either RAIN or NOT RAIN but QUIT this indecision that is giving me a screaming headache

Oh, and I love the binding part! It is so relaxing. If only I could make a living doing it..........
