Retreat

Just came home (exhausted but smiling) from our annual quilting retreat at a very rustic Bible Camp in northwestern Minnesota. We did have running water, electricity, and real showers. What a great time! I told my husband it's like a slumber party with 24 women! We all got a lot accomplished; about half of the ladies made full size mystery quilt tops and the rest of us plugged away on UFOs that had been waiting for the perfect time. We all came home with at least one Halloween table topper, too! This was a real bargain -- 3 nights and four days for $60....

Sure do recommend those getaways to anyone and everyone who likes to sew (and eat!).

These are great, aren't they? I've been going to quilting retreats at Good Earth Village near Spring Valley, MN, for a number of years. Which camp did you go to?

We were at Lake Bronson -- retreat was sponsored by Quilt S'More in Roseau. Judy is just starting this... it's the 3rd year so we are still learning things to make it better. :)
