Midwest get together proposition...

2 yrs ago, October, I hosted a get together for quilters in my home and I'm wondering if anyone is interested in another? Last fall we had to skip it because both myself and Karen had children getting married and were kind of busy. (consider that an understatement) Anyway, in 2003 we had a really nice time together and I'd like to have another, even arranging for overnight (free) accomodations for those who want to come but have a distance to drive. Anyone interested?

I don't live in the Midwest anymore (too bad for me), but I might be there next year (April I think) for the IL quilt festival.

Oh wow, this sounds like so much fun! A big girls sleepover, with quilting!

So where exactly is the "Midwest" for the geographically challenged? LOL

I am interested if the date works out. I would want to spend the night because it is just too long for a one day trip. Would be willing to drive if anyone else from the northern part of the state would like to ride along.

Tina, you slay me. LOL Musicmaker and I live in Central IL. I can house one quilter, or two if they are good friends and can share a queen size bed. Don't know how many Cindy can take. And we have others in our group also.

God what I would give to escape to IL for a quilty/big girl sleepover/retreat! Somehow though, I think that would be a really long drive for me and I doubt very seriously, under current financial situation, that Dh would be willing to splurge and buy me airfaire! LOL

You will all just have to take turns logging into a computer to keep us left at home, posted on the minute by minute fun!

Hugs, Tina

I'll be thinkin' of ya and wishing to be there.... as it is, my SIL is coming out here this year, so we won't be headed to IL. Have a ball! I was lucky enough to meet up with many of you gals a couple years ago & had a ball. ME-Judy

I doubt he would splurge for the airfaire either, but you know we'd surely love to have ya!

oh darn! Well, I guess your SIL's visit is important too!
