Ruler questions

There are many specific function rulers out there such as the Bethany Reynold's Stack n' Whack versus the Marti Michell Kaleidoscope rulers. Which one of these two, for instance, would also give the opportunity for other non-related uses - any opinions?

It seems that every week or so - new and improved rulers are arriving in the market place - each is touted to be the answer to many problems

- Olfa is now selling a line of 'frosted' rulers - what happened to the non-slip line of just a few months ago?

When will the 'talking ruler' be invented - you know, the one that sends out an alarm when you are about to cut a crooked strip or when it moves a smidgen while you are squaring up?

That's known as my DH. He usually gets invited to leave my sewing room at that point. :)

Or, better yet, someone will invent one that will NOT allow itself to shift or for you to cut a crooked strip! I'll certainsly buy one! ME-Judy

I want rulers that will cut the strips without me and even more important fold up the fabrics and put them back in the closet :-)
