I think I'm looking for a needle in a haystack really. I've already been thru dozens of sites and haven't found what I'm looking for. The pattern I'm looking for is made with all straight pieces and goes on the metal loop handles like these, 5th down on the page.

The purse being described sounds like a hobo bag to me, but using metal handles instead of fabric straps.
