I thought you might like to see some of my other handiwork of a nonsewing nature. I have migrated over to Webshots so as to increase thesize of the photo hosting ability and therefore feel compelled to fillup my albums with some of my other interests. The Furniture albumcontains some of the furniture that I have made for myself and my wifeover the years. All of it is made with traditional joinery. Dovetailsand Mortise and Tenon, and no plywoods or other modern materials. Madeas true to the 18th -19th Century Style as possible. Mostly by handbut with some machine work to reduce the boards to a workablethickness.The other album is my Needlepoint. I have been a great fan of the 19thcentury design maven William Morris for many years. I have completed anumber of pieces based on his work in mostly 14-18 point canvas andwool. Mostly made into pillows but some Wall hangings.I hope you enjoy them. I tend to be someone who is rather privateabout my life, but the internet is one place where it seems that youcan reveal yourself without to much blow back.

She picked that one out for me to do, from a book of needlepoint ideas that I have. She likes Impresionist stuff. I am not a particular fan of Impressionist painters, (gasp at that statement), as my taste runs more toward realist types, but I did enjoy doing that one. Girly if you will. It was fitting, as her bathroom was the culmination of a lot of her ideas and, when completed, that was the capstone.
