mulling over a quilt... D"N"(mom is my "sister") is graduating next year the same time as my DB's son. Want to make them each quilts. Already talked to y'all about the tall one :~D still mulling over what to do on that, but might do that neat plaid quilt... anywho...
D"N" loves Chevy trucks and Chevy cars and Chevy anything. His mom said a "chevy orange" quilt with the "bowtie" on it huge in the center would be awesome.... um... I never ever associated orange with Chevy... what am i missing? What color should i work in here? I think of Chevy and my mind goes to red corvettes and blue trucks and my old silver Imp or my current White van... and a gold or silver symbol (which i am guessing now is called "the bowtie") Went to the Chevrolet website and there is a multitude of colors there.
Where should one go from here? I haven't even looked yet for Chevy fabric, although i will.
Actually her other son will be graduating next summer too... ugh....
need super easy if i'm gonna get these done, and don't want to be "off" on the color combo if there is one i should strive for!
