still cant think

woke with a headache so gave it couple of hours then called margaret to cancel the day. figured as there was no real rush it could wait. left a msg on the answerphone but she hadnt checked it and came by just before noon. showed her the bits i'd cut/pressed to front and back side of freezer paper. as shes done no applique at all it all went right over her head. i ended up sending her away with a piece of background plain muslin and some petal/leaf shapes FP pressed to red/green to practice her stitches on. she wanted to make it into a new cellphone holder eventually so she now has the right size block, should work ok, if not when the time comes we can add a border to upsize it, we can add some embroidery to it and maybe a couple of smallish yoyos just for more interest. we'll get her there eventually i guess. j.
