Storm at Sea quilt: handquilting finished!

Dear all! It took me a few months to finish hand-quilting my Storm at Sea quilt called Water & Sun, and then it took another few days to update my homepage, and now another hour to come here via Google Groups (good thing I saved Irene's post of last February telling how to access RCTQ now, after AOL cut us off newsgroups!).

To announce: I have put the picture of my finished quilt on

for all to see, if you're interested. (I posted last year under another AOL-address, Katinka041958, but with this thing with AOL and Google Groups I have changed it.)

Happy dancing in Germany! Katinka.

Beautiful! You did a fabulous job! This one is ready for a quilt show. I hope you can put it in a quilt show so that others can enjoy it also. Cyndi Albuquerque, New Mexico

Howdy! Very pretty. Your quilting enhances the pattern, the waves are waving, the sun is shining, and the border is a nice finishing touch. Good for you! Well done! Thanks for showing and telling. And welcome back to RCTQ, Katinka!
