Sue Nichols

Has anyone taken a machine appliqué class from Sue Nichols? I have a class coming up at the end of this month. Was it fun or very tedious? I have limited use of my hands and I know this will probably slow me down in the class, but I would like to be able to learn some of what she is teaching. I hope I don't aggravate her because I might have trouble doing some of the things we have to do.

I have taken her applique class. She's very sweet and would be patient and helpful to you. I think you can learn a lot from her without working on the project during class. I doubt much would aggravate her. Can you cut with scissors? She does the doughnut fusible method for her applique. The center of the shape is cut out so the fusible is just around the edges of the piece to be appliqued.

don't know anything about there, but is there any chance of contacting someone with brief details of what your limitations are and what you are hoping to gain from the class? That might save any embarassment or pressure later.
