I've been struggling with a setting for this quilt but thanks to the person who posted the pictures of Sisters, OR, ta da!!

Now to figure out borders ...

Be watching! I happen to know that there is one sitting inside her brain right now, just waiting for the right time to pop out ;-)

Aren't the blocks spectacular? I can only take personal credit for the batik Twisted Star. We did have a good group this time :-)

Just love the star quilt - and all the others too.

I really must get around to doing a star sampler one day ;-)

Only one of the stars was made by me, the batik Twisted Star in the upper left corner. The rest came from all over. And the "shadow" idea came from a quilt at the Sisters, OR, show. Isn't it fun, how things sort of meld together in quilting? I imagine our fore mothers taking a bit of an idea from here and another from there ...

Thanks Karen. And thanks for your "dark star". It actually inspired part of the setting solution (very dark corner to very light corner).
