The 'Fat Chicks' quilt finally got to the place where all the blocks were on the design wall. Don't think for a moment that the cute little top was mindlessly simple. Nay. There are 16 chicks going to the right; 9 going the other way. Twelve pinwheels spinning clockwise; 12 counter-clockwise. (Not to mention that we didn't want the red Tootsie Roll chick beside the red Santa Claus chick . ..and other considerations.) Someone here had told us the camera was the way to go to 'hold' a layout. It is indeed. I took a picture of the arrangement, printed it and kept it beside the sm while I put the blocks together. Happy day, happy day. No numbering. No oops. A big hug and/or sloppy wet kiss to whoever told us about using the camera. YeeeHa. Polly
