Thank you, jeanne

Bringing up the rear here, but about a week ago, jeanne showed us a site for microwave heating corn bags. A wonderful Christmas gift or anytime gift, thoroughly explained, welcome to someone who 'has everything' and can be a quickie or made very special. At first, I wondered if they were using popping corn and thought that ought to be more excitement than anyone was wanting. They're not. The corn is called 'feed' corn and is even available at WalMart. The article also explains how to kill the critters that sometimes accompany dried corn. So. Thank you, jeanne. Wow. The only thing I might add is I think we will want to print the heating instructions on the bag. Quilters know how to do that. Polly

your most welcome, Ms Polly. tis always a pleasure to pass on the neat stuff found online. if i could also pass on the scrummy orange cake now cooling in the kitchen, then add some lemon icing and dessert is served. a wee bit too late here for afternoon tea by the time it cools sufficiently.

if i can only remember to check our shops here for the feed corn, then i can make a few of those for xmas too. show us pix when you make whatever you make, Polly. i love the shape of the one DD gave me two xmas' ago. its about 7 x 24 inches long, divided in three sections by sewing it down in the right place. hangs round my neck without falling even if i'm moving round the house. works great here at the puter as a wrist/elbow heated pad too. merry xmas!! jeanne
