That rascal Hurricane Ida looks like she's taking dead aim at The Swamp. Silly thing; everybody knows we don't have hurricanes in November. We've washed and dried everything we can get out hands on - and I've baked LOTS. Can't use the oven or clothes dryer on a little generator if we lose electricity. We have Seattle's Patti and Edna P over to our east and Kate T on the west. Hope all of you are battening down your hatches. Sometimes our hurricanes plunder on north as far as New York - so even Doc and Amy need to be paying attention. And for Heaven's Sake, don't go get under a tree. I remember one fairly low key hurricane where 7 people were killed from falling trees. Polly
