The quilt has been cleaned - vacuumed only - and rehung. This time with a sleeve on the back and a pole through the sleeve.

The bottom picture has been flipped horizontally so the initials read left-to-right.Family records don't produce a JAP, or even the P, so mystery has been added. Quilted by a friend? Relative too distant to be recorded? Maiden name or married name where the other name shows on family records? All possibilities.
