More questions about Fabric _Postcards?

Sorry about the extra post. What are these postcards backed with. Fabric? Heavy Paper? Do they have batting in them? Does the post office have any rules about them? These sound like a lot of fun, since I am having trouble concentrating on larger projects. Although I can see how easy it would be to invest great amounts of time in a postcard. Thanks so much for your help.

Some people use one, some people use the other. I use plain fabric because I have lots of it handy.

Mine do, some don't.

Yeah, if you want to mail them.

You can put as much or as little time as you want in them. I like to try out designs and techniques on them -- lots of fun!

You can use batting. Yes, the post office definitely has rules about them. They cannot be larger than 4x6. Be sure you have zig zagged, satin stitched, or blanket stitchet very carefully around your edges. There cannot be any loose threads. You must write POST CARD on it, put a 39 cent stamp on it, and take it to your post office to have it hand cancelled. Email me privately with your snail mail address, and I will send you the instructions we received in a class from one of our guild members.
