I've only looked at the first episode so far. I'll probably wait until the weekend to see the second one.

I love seeing all the quilts in the gallery! WOW! What inspiration!

I watched but had great difficulty in hearing her. (I could hear Alejx and Ricky perfectly). Vikki has a quiet voice and she dropped it even more at the end of phrases. She also spoke very quickly. She just didn't enunciate enough for my ears (which normally work excellently! I was interested in what she was doing, which made not being able to hear her even more frustrating.

Howdy!

I watched episode 1, yesterday. Funny, entertaining, but I remain under-impressed by Joe the Quilter, and his frame. I like the feel of the show, w/ Alex the big Sister (she confessed to age 55) and her younger brother who just turned 51. They compliment each other. Ricky's story about his prize-winning quilt and the big check he got for it was just plain cute: he bought a Harley.

I think she means the duo of Alex and Ricky feeling like family, ie. bro and sis. If you ever have the chance to have Vikki Pignatelli as a teacher....don't miss it! She's a wealth of information! Her techniques are easily followed for some fabulous results. I watched her segment today. I haven't watched Joe the Quilter one yet. Vikki had emailed me a while ago and said she would be the first program...but I was to keep it hush hush. :-)
