Thoughts on: washing quilts

But, Kathyl, can clothing *break* when it's frozen solid like that? Someone once asked about breaking a frozen quilt. We *need* to know this. VBG

Nope...it didn't snap off. The ice breaks away leaving the flexible cloth. I tried it. Now....it might have been fun to try it in liquid nitrogen in chemistry class...but they were pretty careful about who got to put things in that!

You bet she had a lot of experience! We had a clothes dryer, but it was rarely used. She still hangs out quite a bit of laundry but it's not as easy for her as when she was younger. Yeah, I wonder how many of the global warning alarmists would consent to hanging laundry consistently.

Clothesline - I know what that is! It's the cotton rope stuff that I use in the middle of my fabric wrapped coil bowls! *grin*

Ok, off to hide now!
