today and Bolivia

Hey thanks Tina, I'm on my way! I just might have to bring a huge suitcase to hold all the fabric. How else can I be holding fabric for everyone when I ring the door bell? Would anyone prefer thread for their serger? Remember that you can't have both! Limited space in the suitcase! I need to be back in SC before dark or my car might turn into a pumpkin. Barbara in SC who has already taken mom her peach pie. She ate it before lunch. The flowers I have are my favoriate colors, purple, pink, and yellow.

That is just what we did! Peeled 'em, sliced 'em, put 'em in the oven with a teeny bit of water for 15 minutes, then dotted them with butter and poured maple syrup over them and put them back to finish cooking. Gosh they are good that way! and just about perfect matched with the slight bitterness of collard greens (which were also on the table).

And by the by, the cranberry-vidalia onion-pepper jelly that DD2 brought us is most awesome!
