today's Simply Quilts

Thanks, Cheryl -- I think the commute might break the bank, though. ;) As for the book Ragmop recommended to you, do you want me to order it for you and ship it to you? I promise it wouldn't cost anything like what you saw elsewhere.

Thanks so much for the kind offer.

If you can find a copy maybe I could order it direct. I was lazy and just did the standard search and finished up at Amazon. I think more books fall into the "nice to have" category ((LOL)) so if you can point me to a copy - fine! But if not, please do not go to any trouble for me as I really do have a LOT of books already and I probably should stop.

Maybe one day I will! ((Oh, yeah! Like that's ever going to happen ROFL))

Thanks again - and do let me know if you see a copy I can order.

Cheryl, I was looking at Amazon, but it must be less expensive here. Look at . There are a few copies that are quite expensive, but there are a couple for under $15. :)

This is what I found, but the first four listings do not ship international. The fifth one is priced at $57.

If you are happy to buy one locally (ie within the States) from the first couple listed that would be great. Email me off list and we will sort out some way for me to pay you

I just order a reasonably priced, used copy of this book. I can't wait for it to get here now!

P.S. I promised Dave i wouldn't cover the whole house in quilts, but I'm trying to find a way to put one or two more on display. Of course, I'll have to finish something first.

Sometimes i wish the State would pay me to stay home and quilt.

Ah, don't we all, Maureen, don't we all?! Nancy J Martin, with co-author Suzette Halferty, wrote another book that features some quilts in household settings. It is Patchwork Picnic. This one includes 'quilts and recipes for year-round entertaining.' The patterns and the recipes are lovely. Along with quilts, there are a few patterns for helpful picnic accessories.
