No Larisa, yesterday was a postal holiday..... Labor Day....so I figure lots of things will show up today. I feel sorry for my mail man - will have to have a glass of tea ready for him when he comes! LOL

Hugs, Tina

We can get a product called 'Sticky Stuff Remover' which is fantastic. I am sure you can yet a similar product in the USA. It removeds gum, and the sticky deposits left from labels, also tar, oil and wet paint. We have a white house and last time we painted it with masonary paint had difficulty cleaning the brushes because as soon as they were put in water the paint went stringy (like melted cheese!). Tried a quick dip in Sticky Stuff Remover, and I could clean the brushes normally. I sound like a TV advert!

I once washed a readers digest with the laundry. That was pretty messy too.

Howdy! But it wasn't as messy as the unabridged version would have been, right?

Btw, most of the tissue/paper residue gets collected in the dryer, not that big a deal.

Ragmop/Sandy--quilting, of course, what else? ;-D

LOL Maureen! Ernie is actually very good about his teeth and claws, which is nice since he has 22 of the latter! He like to roughhouse and at about 13 lbs of solid cat he's good at it. But if he gets too rough all I have to do is say, "Ouch!" and he immediately stops biting and starts licking the same spot, as if to say "Sorry." He also knows how to 'sit pretty' and wave. Speak is something he never quite got the hang of though. He sits up and begs, waving all the while if he thinks you have anything he might be remotely interested in. DH got a Freecycled telescope last week and Ernie sat up while we were checking it out. I had to pick him up so he could see it closer and satisfy his curiosity.

Larisa!!!!!!!!!!! It's here! And boy howdy does it smell good! LOL The mailman (a sub today, poor thing) walked up my driveway, very awkwardly, rolling his eyes and looking at me for an explanation......

I'm sorry I didn't respond sooner. Our mail server has been up and down this afternoon and I had to be at the PTO meeting tonight.

They will be delivered right after school drop off in the morning!

Thanks and a gazillion hugs for you and kiddos! Tina, in Houston

Wish my Boofhead had manners like that!

He's a sook who likes to be nursed and if I don't pick him up he jumps into my arms and just clings. At 21lbs that's a lot of cat to be hanging on by the "fingernails"!!

After 3 turns in the dryer with plenty of fabric softener sheets, and one more washing, all of the toilet paper has come off of my flannel.. Luckily, I have 2 long wire brushes and was able to clean out the lint trap every few minutes while the dryer was running. I finished the flannel quilt top this morning.

This thread was fun, especially all of the washed worms.

Howdy! Didn't we decide years ago on this very ng to call that a "Design Element" ?

Ragmop/Sandy --- yes, I did intend to wear that wad of snipped threads on the back of my blacks slacks ;-D

Pippen learned the word "ouch" to and would do the same thing. Aren't they all sweeties?"
