Travel Applique Case I Made

Hello everyone.

Well, tomorrow the travel begins. Off to help Mom for a couple of weeks in Michigan with projects around the house, attend my nephew's graduation party (how can he be that old already), go to family weddings and all that stuff. Then off to Pennsylvania for visit Bert's family and family reunion and geneaology stuff and stay with a friend of his from long ago college. Then off to Dallas for a short week for my summer BPA conference of editing/auditing/writing of next years competition tests. Then back home. I'm tired already.

So, everyone needs to stay safe, stay healthy, and sew lots. Good vibes to all who need them and I will be thinking of you all along the way. I'll have spotty internet connection and no newsgroup access.

Here is a link to a quicky project so that I could take my applique with my in a safe and organized fashion. Still trying to figure out a better way to cap the one end of the tube. Otherwise I am pleased with my design after seeing several of all of your creations.

So, off tomorrow until almost the end of July.

See you then.

Have a fantastic trip Steve, and travel safe. Your applique case is lovely and should work just fine. Cheers Bronnie

Have safe journeys and a wonderful time, Steven. Could you put an elastic loop onto the opening edge of the tube flap and a button on the tube so that you could hook the loop round the button? . In message , steve writes

That seems right. I think I have it just backwards. To open in now I have to unroll it all. If I put the buttons on the cap and the elastic on the covering, I could get the cap off easily when I wanted to. Thanks for the observation.

It sounds like quite a trip. There are several of us in the Dallas area. If you have time, maybe we could all get together for a quick get together. DH & I drove to Alaska in 1992. It was a wonderful trip.
