trip to the UK - anyone want anything

I don't need anything, thank you very much, Anne; but just thought I'd give you a tip on weight: Freezer Paper would be too heavy - but we can get that easily. Press 'n' Seal we can't, as you know. If you take the rolls out of the boxes (put into a polythene bag), it is far, far easier and lighter to transport. It does mean that the recipient has to cut with scissors - but that is a small price to pay I think.

To give you an idea of the price of cutter blades: I bought some Olfa blades the other day (fed up with cheaper ones that go 'off' so quickly YMMV!) and they were £3.50 each ($7). . In message , Anne Rogers writes

Check the paper wrappers that printer paper comes in. Often, it has a bit of a "finish" to it on the inside and can be used like freezer paper. Not all the brands do, but most. I'm probably the other way. I enjoyed myself so much in the UK that I miss good chocolate now that I'm back. Try explaining Malteasers to someone who thinks they must taste like Whopper's. Also, I cannot get Cadbury's hot chocolate mix in the US. It's really painful.
