Twin Hugs arrive

I just got the following email from Connie:

You have confirmed that God and Angels are real. I'm sure you had no way of knowing, but the quilts arrived on Thursday, which was the nine month anniversary of Sean's funeral. Cathy and I had been struggling the entire day. We saw those quilts and just lost it. The blocks with his name - that's what his friends used in the song they wrote for the funeral. I'm sending you the .mp3.

I'm babbling and can't even make a coherent sentence, but when you hear the song, you'll know what I mean about what you wrote on the quilt blocks, and how you live 2000 miles away but tapped into what we were feeling and made it all good.

While we can never repay your kindness, love and support, we do acknowledge it and love you more than any words could express.

Connie & Cathy

ps: we didn't recognize the names on some of the squares - can you send names and emails so we can thank them personally?

-- If anyone would like to send them an email, please let me know. I know they'd love to hear from you. Thanks, Debi

Happy to hear they're working! HUGS sure are special.... we get a warm feeling when we make and send blocks... and again when we receive notes like this. And the recipient gets the warm "HUG" when she gets the quilt! (or quilts as the case might be!)

Oh how wonderful! Hugs just seem to always have their perfect timing, and their perfect work. They know just what to do, and when. Lovely.

Wonderful! Thanks for sharing the email from Connie & Cathy. It is always terrific to hear that our hug quilts are a comfort.
