Wall hanging is done!!

I finally finished a large 'appliqué in the hoop' quilt today. It'sgoing to go in my office at work; I'm really pleased with how it cameout. If you'd like to take a look it is here: posted a few days ago about useing the binding method SharonSchamber outlines on her website using Elmer's school glue instead ofpins to keep everything in check and I have to say, this is the bestbinding I've ever done. It's flat and smooth. I've never done miteredcorners before because I was too scared to try it but using her methodthey are perfect. With my arthritic fingers, this method is a godsend.Pins are so painful to deal with sometimes. Anyway, this is hopefully the first in a series of seasonal appliquequits formy office, one each for summer, fall, winter and spring. (I know, bigdreams!)-Irene in cloudy CNY

Just beautiful, Irene! I'd be really pleased too. :-) All the flowers are lovely, but I must admit those pansies are particularly eye-catching. Your office is going to be a very cheery place!
