What's Up With Webshots?

Question

Lately I cannot go to any links of pictures on Webshots. For the last couple days I get the main page advertising 25% off at their grand opening of the new store and that's it. Clicking on the "no thanks" gets me nowhere. Clicking on the "check it out" gets me to the sales page but still can't get to any pictures. How do you get to see the pictures? I've signed on and still no luck.

Mickie, (who has been having a very bad week so far, first my favorite iron burned itself up, then JoAnn discontinued selling my new favorite batting, and now this!) LOL

I didn't have a problem at all getting to see the quilt - just not bright enough to help you - except maybe your computer has adjusted itself to such a high level of security that it won't do the Webshots for you.  I have no idea what I'm talking about.  Polly

It's been acting weird, Mickie. I've been trying to look at some pics myself this week and sometimes that ad shows up, and the 'click' doesn't work, and sometimes the ad doesn't show up.

Don't know the person, Debbi, but that isn't the only link that won't work forme - I haven't been able to get to any links to Webshots for a few days now.  Links toother pictures on other sites work just fine.I'm working with a commission to design a quilt with lots of 6" signaturesquares, and the one link to a quilt that he likes is the only one I can't get to.  Now thatI see it, I can see squares won't work, but at least I can see his tastes in design!Mickie

I ran into that too, Mickie.  I *think* I closed the window, and tried the link again right away, which worked.  Or I may have left the window open and clicked on the link again, which got me to where I wanted to go.  Since I don't get to read the group as often as I'd like, I haven't tried any webshots links since.

American Greetings has bought Webshots and all sorts of problems have popped up.

Mickie, can I quote what you have written in the first paragraph? I can send the info to someone who can alert the Webshots IT guys so they can fix this problem.
