Oh, right! So, I'm NOT doing my back in! In fact, I do have a seat that is quite high. The chair goes up & down depending on which "desk" I'm working at. My other desk is drafting table height. But it never goes as low as standard desk chairs. I always assumed that I needed to change the chair to one that was standard height. I'm glad to hear I can keep my chair!

I have been in PT 3 times in the last two years, back, knee and shoulder and I did these each time and still do them, the therapist told me that those cracks and creaks were kind of like oiling your joints and bones.

I have two copies of her book and I make all the new quilters take it home and read it when they start lessons with me. Then every so often I will "throw" it at someone that I see hunching over their machine and suggest that it is time to re-read it lol
