Quilt piecing

Lurker here, need help. I'm Mary Ellen, quilter (sort of) and cross stitcher. I read a post regarding advice to piece together a large quilt. A book by Georgia Bonesteel was recommended but I don't know which one to buy. Any help????? Thanks ! Mary Ellen

hi Mary Ellen, welcome to rctq, pull up a chair, grab a drink and some chocolate and settle in a while. heres my opinion, fwiw, lol. dont buy any of them, go borrow then from your local library first. check online and you can see what your library has on the shelf now or what is in other branches in the same system and order them to be sent to your own library for pick-up. they'll notify you by email when the books arrive too. also check whatever else they've got in quilting books. all free and you can then spend your $ on stash. ok ok, sometimes there are a few books we just gotta have but i'd still check the local library first. now your out of lurkdom dont be a stranger, eh. lolling in the sun in the south pacific in summer. :) jeanne

Hi Mary Ellen!

We were just "talking" about a famous quilter who is your namesake (or you are hers probably lol) - Mary Ellen Hopkins.

Welcome to rctq - stick around
