a little about....

My sister has a chihuahua cross with a weenie dog. It is the cutest little dog in a weird sort of way.

Name: Lynne Miles, I'll be 43 on October 15th.

Home: Sacramento, CA (Orangevale little suburb) Originally from Rough and Ready, CA about an out from here. Too small a town to find a husband in unless I wanted to marry a lumberjack and I'm to much of city girl for that.

Family: Husband -Ed , I have 2 kids DD 9yr, DS, 12 yr. My husband has been snipped, so if I show up pregnant from hanging around this group I'll be in VERY BIG trouble. :D

Scrapbooking for: about 3 years. 1st year didn't do too much I was overwhelmed by the whole process. 2nd year I started to use the items with the help of my CM consultant. 3rd year I just went crazy and started my own crop group that meets at my home once a month. I use my 40% Michael's coupon nearly every week to get some Scrapbooking gadget. The friends that come to my house once a month are enthralled by a separate table I set up with just the tools they can use for their scrapbooks.

Occupation: Chief cook and bottle washer, I really describe myself as a mom. I'm really not a housewife. I live with a major pack rat and clutter freak and I gave up trying to clean up after him years ago. No one can just drop by my house unless their prepared to see boxes of stuff every where. For my once a month get togethers I get everyone together and we clean, clean, clean until the main living areas are presentable. Don't dare look in my bedroom though. HA!

I collect a dish pattern called King's Crown. See my website:

. I'm very crafty almost possessed bythe urge to create something... usually for other people. That's why I likescrapbooking cause I'm creating something for myself. I love to cook, sew, paint, I'm often told I should sell my wares, but I think the enjoyment ofcrafting would be gone if I had to make 100 of them.Favorite thought: Watch where you're going, not where you've been.

Hey April! If we move back to the Shreveport area, I'm heading to your house for some steak LOL

You've got the collection of animals! How many acres do you have?

Neat about your Girl Scout cookies sales! :)

Soni,

Thanks! I do not have a store front...yet. The paypal payment feature is ok. I just wasn't ready to setup a merchant account at the time. I am looking to do set one up in the next month. Paypal is nice to have but not the best for everyone. I have done all the work for my site and there is still much to be done. (as always)

What is your site?

Hi Christi!

I didn't know there was someone so close to me from this group! (although the drive from Houston to SA is not a short one)

Name: Donna Borger, 37 (when I can remember)

Home: Augusta, KS (20 miles from Wichita)

Family: DH - drywall man, 3 children - DD 17 years, DD 14 years, DS 10. DD's are 3 years apart but like having twins - 14 year old looks 17 and dresses exact opposite of the 17 year old.

Scrapbooking: Just started this about 6 months ago. I made a scrapbook for my parents in honor of their 45th anniversary. Loved it - had too much fun! Also completed a mini scrapbook of trip to Kansas City that we had taken silly photo's for. Was supposed to be a gift but then after all that work I couldn't give it up. Oh well...

Occupation: SAHM, children's ministry, puppeteer and puppet maker. I love to craft just about anything. My favorite thing now is rubber stamping - I've stamped my living room border, lamps, cards, gift wrap, etc... I just recently started making puppets for ministry and I am having loads of fun doing that too. If I just had more time...

Cool! Another puppeteer! My dh is a puppeteer and I'm a wannabe puppeteer :) He got me into it when we ordered the large latex VeggieTale puppets for a VBS. Since then we've order a pattern to make more (haven't got my sewing machine working yet though) and we've found a pattern for a traveling stage we're planning on putting together. Lots of fun :)

LOL, copy on the AF moving :) My dh is an AF brat (his dad was a colonel and chaplain, retired 2 years now). DH went to more schools growing up than the number of years he was in it! But, if it weren't for the AF, we wouldn't have met as he's from (originally) Boston and I'm from TX. His dad was stationed here and he went to HS with me, thus how we met. Anyway, there is hope for the kids at least :) Have you seen the AF stickers that list the different bases? DH wants me to get them, but unfortunately about half the bases he lived on are no longer in operation and don't have stickers :)

CC,

I've seen those stickers and want them, but then think about the first two we were at (the second was where CG was born) are now closed. :( CG will always tell you he's a California boy... he spent 4 weeks there LOL

Aww - they are wonderful! They are loving and cuddly and not much to take care of (it takes me 6 months to go though one 8 pound bag of dog food for the two of them LOL!) I socialized them when they were puppies so they are friendly to strangers -not nipping at their ankles at all! You need to get one or two or three... :) My nephew jokes he wants a "herd" of Chihuahuas!
