Anyone in a scrapbook slump?

I go in spurts Tina. I haven't scrapbooked since the first of the end of April. Tonight I got out a couple of page kits I'd made up and scrapped 3 pages and am ready to do more! Perhaps if you sat down and worked on a page or just made a card you would feel inspired.

I got myself a new desk and organized everything with the hope that I would complete all my scrapbook pages in a couple weeks, but its been like a month and ? havent even done one single layout!!! I guess the more projects you have on mind, the less you want to scrap, at least thats what happens to me!!!

I am with you, Tina. I'm in a slump too. I did two pages on Sunday for a friend, (I had promised them by the end of the schoolyear), but other than that, I have no motivation. Abby is gone to her grandparents' house until Sunday, so maybe with the extra time I'll get something done.

Definitely! I go through phases when I don't even look at my wonderful scrapbook goodies. I haven't scrapbook since April and just last night pulled out a page to do. Take your time and don't stress over it. You will get your scrapbook bug back! ;)

I guess you could call it a slump..but mainly I haven't had time!! I have plenty of pics to get printed off so I can get started again! Sometimes I just make cards if I dont have the time to invest in a whole page.

Oh, I can totally sympathize. I managed to get out of my last one in a couple of ways:

1) Participated in the recipe swap here at RCS. Nothing like a deadline to get you motivated. 2) got out a kit and worked on it. Predefined, little thinking, end point. It helped me get back on track, plus it was easy to complete. 3) Took a class. Okay I took more than one class. And I called up my scrap buddy and said "let's crop".

As a treat for all this hard work, I'm going through some of my old negatives and planning on sending them in to get digitized/scanned.

Last month I great. The March/April Challenge that we had here really motivated me and I got 11 pages done with my goal for the 2 months being 10. I belong to another board that does monthly challenges to but they don't really motivate me, they do 20-50 pages if not more a day and a majority of them do not do digital scrapbooking they are just truely devoted. When I do a page or two I don't feel to motivated on that board. LOL! I started the year off great doing a page or two a weekend. But now that nice weather is here I'm more busy being outside taking pictures. I did do a page yesterday (1 page) and want to do one today but I just don't have any ideas or I have an idea but its like oh I don't know. I agree the magazine layouts are way to busy for my taste. I find a lot of inspiration from Two Peas though.

Scrapbook? What's that? LOL THat's really how I've been lately. I just can't get motivated. *sigh* I'm back in the dreaded allergy/asthma fight again, which really takes the energy out of me. I have done a little reorganiznig here and there, so I don't feel so lost with my play toys. Hopefully this afternoon or this evening I'll be able to sit down and do something, though!

SLUMP? I cal it lack of interest, motivation, over work, depression and lack-a-shopping!

I think since the first of the year I have only made like 4 cards. I have not even done any organizing, just pile stuff on my desk. The last thing on the pile is the beautiful paper packs MC sent me last week for me day.

Maybe with work slowing down I can find something to get into. (crossing fingers!)
