Camera help...

I am looking to buy a new camera in the next month. I am looking at the Canon Powershot SX100IS, the Kodak Easyshare Z8612, and the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H10/B. Does anyone have or know anything positive or negative about any of these models? If you have any other good models in the $250-ish price range, please let me know!

Thanks,

April

I just bought the Kodak easyshare 10 MP for 129.00 off of QVC. I love it it has so many features and wonderful pictures..i tested mine already and i am very pleased..i also like it cause it comes with a charging dock so i dont have to worry about batteries all the time..i love the docks.. came with case and charger and usb cable and kodak gallery photos and software and manual and straps.. chatty cathy

I have been looking for a new camera as well. The Canon Powershot SD1100IS looks to be a decent camera in that price range.

I have an older Koday easyshare, it's been a great camera. It's easy to use and takes great pictures. I still use it a lot. My DH bought me the Canon Digital Rebel for Christmas, so I use it more now. I still love my Kodak camera though. I don't have any experience with the newer ones.

I want the Rebel, but am not willing to spend that much.

Thanks, April

That does look like a nice camera, however I want something with more zoom that what I have now (my current camera has 3x optical).

Can you use regular alkaline batteries? I don't like having to use a charger or a dock. I always carry extra batteries and I like that if they run down I can stop anywhere and get more instead of waiting for them to charge.
