I'm a CM Consultant and I prefer the color backgrounds myself. It is very rare that I will do just a plain background --unless like you, feel it needs to be. I will sometimes even use products that aren't CM! There are so many great items out there ...why only stick to one! :-)
I became a consultant to help my habit by getting a discount on scrapping products. I am so not a big person on pushing the product and usually just have scrapping parties,,,inviting friends over, drink some wine and scrap. I do tend to sell alot of tools and pages just from those parties so I can continue being an addict!
