Cricut design studio question

What Cartridge do u speak of. All the cricut cartridges do is let you cut designs on the cricut machine DS lets you take the carts you have and manipulate them and make other designs with them. But the draw back to it all is: You have to have the carts in order to cut anything. Even if it's a cut file you download from the net. If you don't have the carts it was created with you can't cut it out. Big expense. Ask me how I know. I have both the Cricut Expression and the Pazzles Inspiration. I highly recommend the PI over the CE any day. And guess what no extra carts to buy either. You can cut anything you can design and dream of.
