Crop-A-Dile !!!!!

my MIL and i went up to the WSU campus today for a craft fair. over

150 vendors and not 1 was papercrafting. i was kinda dissappointed, i went to get ideas for the upcoming bazaar mom and i are doing. anyway, went we drove into pullman, i made a comment about wanting to go to the LSS there. i had never been. well, on the way home we stopped. i was in HEAVEN. it was geared alot towards altered items. i saw the crop-a-diles and showed her and apparently had a "kid in a candy store" look on my face. when we got in the car she surprised me with it for an early b-day present. i was so excited. now i have to hurry and finish my matchbook album so i can work on something else with it.

Hi Anji,

What's a crop-a-dile? I haven't seen that yet.

it's a hole punch, eyelet setter, snap setter, and afew other things i haven't learned yet. all in one hand held tool. you just rotate the heads for different sizes and shapes to set. it goes through leather, chipboard, bookboard, fabric, ribbon (without tearing), acrylic, wood, and more. i thought at first it looked a little stupid because it's not an anywhere punch. then the owner at my local LSS store got one and asked if i had seen one yet. i set an eyelet and was sold!!! instead of splitting the eyelets in the back, it like folds them down. so they're flat against the back of the paper with no thickness. plus it has like little measuring marks on the 2 different parts that pokes the holes, so, like me making journals, you can have your holes in a straight line. i always get my holes off by just enough to notice. it is a spendy tool, but worth it. especially since it goes through heavy duty bookboard. sometimes i hate having to drag my drill out to make holes. here's the link. it looks kinda small, but it's not! i think it even does a demonstration online too. Wow, that does sound cool. I followed your link and saw "creative things you can do"... being able to set eyelets in tin cans... now that's very cool. If I were into the altered paint can craft I think I wouldn't be able to live without the crop-a-dile as it adds such a cool touch. I'll put the cropadile on my christmas wish list :)
