Pictures of my Arisona trip posted

I haven't scrapped them yet, but since they include pictures of Amy S and her daughter in the Recollections store and pictures of the 7300 sqft LSS (Scrapbooks Etc) that I have been raving about, as well as some of the Scrapbook Barn I thought that I'd let you know that I've posted the pictures to my webshots account. Due to my total lack of creative thinking at this point, they are in an album simply called, AZ trip Pictures.

Beautiful pictures of your Arizona trip M-C. Loved the Rick the Orator photo --- "I talk to the trees but they don't listen to me!"--- immediately jumped into my mind...ROFL Also drooling over the size of these scrapbook stores and all the supplies. I suppose the closest we would have to that is the Hobbycraft stores that are springing up. Nearest one to me is Preston....well over 100 miles away...so won't be visiting anytime soon!!!!!

*huge sigh"

Great pics MC

I love those scrapbook stores lo's!

I think I'm going to send those to my boss if that's okay with you. He gives me free rein at the store (within reason of course)(:>)

I love the way all the paper is in one area etc....

Looks like it was a fun trip. The pictures are great. Your DH looks like a real cut up.

Not a problem Trish. Truly that is the best set up store I've ever seen. It is really easy to find things in there despite all the stock and while it does have something to do with the space, I think it has more to do with the fact that things are placed in a very intuitive way. Our big scrapbook store here in LR is probably the worst set up store I've ever seen but they do have a lot of stuff. Then again, Scrapbook ETc just expanded for the 4th time and they redid the whole store this past June. It really looks good when all the display racks are coordinated.

For how short it was, less than 3 days it was, thanks to meeting up with Amy which really made the trip special for me. Yup DH can be really funny especially when it is picture taking time!

Would you believe under $20 and that is because I bought a magazine? It was the first store I went to and I knew that I would be visiting another 2-3 stores that day. I spent most of my money shopping with Amy! I told my DH that I wanted to move to a house right near that store, LOL!

I'll have to remember that " "I talk to the trees but they don't listen to me" quote! I think it's really funny and might include it when I do a layout with the picture, if that is OK with you!

That's some scrapbook store! I haven't been in a big store for so long.......not since the trip to Sieversville, TN over a year ago - and that one wasn't as big as the one you were in. The 'Scrapbook Xanadu' store in Indy isn't bad, but in no way compares to this. Though they did have three big revolving racks full of 50% off merchandise. No, I didn't clean them out, but they did have a lot of Heidi Grace and S.E.I. on the racks. I wasn't planning to get there while I was in Indy, but my DB got what he wanted at the State Historical Library, so we went to the State Library and copied stuff there, then drove across town to the State Archives. We were there until they kicked us out and guess what!! The scrapbook store was only another exit away so I took my DB there. He followed me around the store talking to our other DB on his cell phone with a headset while I drooled over paper and supplies. I kept asking the clerk where this guy came from and does he follow everyone like this. Got some neat embellishments I plan to use tomorrow at the crop.

M-C, Scrapbook Essentials - Carmel location is closed, they only have the store in Indy - 8284-B Center Run Drive.

I found it last night after I got home. It is located at the same exit as Scrapbook Xanadu. Also The Crop Shop located at Bicknell, In has moved to Vincennes, IN 1731 Hart Street, 47591

Nice pictures M-C. Makes me want to go back to Scottsdale for a visit. But with all the new scrapbook stores there, maybe it's better I don't live there anymore!

Great pictures. Now....... how many airmiles do I need to fly to those scrapbook stores? I'll need more than 2 weeks off to go to. They're big!

Tks MC

I'm just popping in for a second to see if you answered me & WOW!! 592 unread messages!! Guess they'll have to stay that way for now, as I'm on my way to work.

Just got another big order in yesterday, so stayed late last night & I'm back in today to finish it up, then 2 more days & I get 3 days off!!(LOL)

7 days straight is a long week!:>) But I'm not complaining, the hours will soon be cut (that time of year in the craft business:>() so I have to stash away as much scrapping $$ as possible!(LOL)

Well, off to work:>) & tks again MC, the pics are on their way!:>)

You're welcome, Trish! I haven't been able to catch up either, despite my best efforts! I currently have 482 unread messages. I hope that everyone who might have asked a question will forgive me if I haven't replied. I'm going to push the catch up button. That way if you'll repost a question you might have, I'll actually be able to see it.

Just thought I'd let you know that as of last night, our store now has a "Paper room":>)

The boss was really excited about it & thought it was a great idea! So I jumped on it right away & got the guy I worked with last night to help me move the printed paper over. Man!! those racks are heavy when all 30 slots are full!! We stack the 2 high, so I moved the low ones & he lifted the top ones on. I'll have to take a pic when it's finished so you can see. I'm working with a little shorty tonight:>), so I'm hoping to get Peter to help me move the cardstock before he leaves for the day!:>) This is really exciting, I love changes. On top of all of this, the new AMM stuff is arriving too. The third shipment should be here next week!

Can you say "I"M BROKE!!!!"????????? (LOL)

Well, off to do some laundry before I go to work!:>)

Have a great day:>)

I love AMM stuff! I can see why you would go broke! I can't wait to see what you've done with your store! Sounds like it will make the rest of the store more open and accessible.
