My LSS has a 'one day April madness' sale today and they said that items started at 5c, so I had to go over and check it out... it was worth the trip. I bought twenty assorted little fabric page decorations (the 5c offerings) including a pile of daisies and some red satin hearts that will be just right for our wedding album, and a couple of cute little pink baby mice for cardmaking. I spent $6 on assorted patterned paper at 25c a sheet, including some lovely brown 'torn' pages with brads printed on them and some pinky baby paper that I'll probably cut up for cardmaking since I don't have a baby to scrap for! And I got some Mrs Grossman's animal stickers for 25c, and a couple of cute border design sheets for 50c. In all I spent $10 on goodies, and browsed happily around the store for two hours. My knee is killing me now, but it was worth it... I was going to get some silver lettering stickers but I had to leave them out because I realised that I still desperately need a papercarrier - the cats have been showing an undue level of interest in my scrapbook supplies, and while they'd be happy to 'distress' the corners of my paper for me I'd rather they didn't... so I bought a plain box to hold 100 sheets. I really want a proper crop box thingy, but it's got to wait a few months - John says that for my birthday I can have $100 for craft supplies and I'll buy it with that.
Anyone else have a problem with cats chewing on their goodies? I've stacked up my folders on the desk for want of a better storage place, and I've noticed that they're all getting decidedly toothmarked on the corners! ~Karen aka Kajikit Crafts, cats, and chocolate - the three essentials of life
