I was wondering if anyone can share any opinions good or bad about the Crop-a-dile Big Bite. My husband got me a gift card for Cord Camera for my birthday, and I am looking at this thing. I played with it a bit yesterday while I was there, but I'm not sure about it. It kinda mangled one of the eyelets the lady set with it. Is it difficult to use? Does it mangle things easily? Thanks for your help!

I find it big and heavy. I like my crop-a-dile better. The big bite reaches further but I useally use eyelets or punch holes in my mats anyway and then attach them to my page so the crop-a-dile works just fine for my needs. Barb:o)
I bought the big a large bite last weekend and I love it. I don't have the smaller, so I cannot compair the two. I did not get it with the intentions of carting it around, and it stands up like a very large stapler. I made a paper bag album last night and I used it several times in addition to punching holes in the bags themselves.

At first i hated mine cause it did mangle my eyelets and it made me mad then after playing with it more i found out it was my fault i didnt set it right and i didnt know that the bottom turned too..since then i use it for everything..scrapbooking and albums and cards and home decor..Heck hubby even used it to do his belt and i did my purse and shoes and sandals too..im now working on using it on towels.. i love mine and glad that i have it..i love that it stands..yes its a bit heavy but manageable... chatty
I have one and I really like mine. I have had it since it first hit HSN b/c my best friend works for them and she got it for me. I have never messed up anything with it. I like the fact you can reach in so easy. I just used mine tonight to punch holes in a composition book I was covering. It works great for me.
Well, I bought it! I didn't have time to do a LO tonight, but I did play with it a bit, and I think I'll like it...I just need a bit more practice. Thanks for your input, ladies!

Where did you buys yours from. Did you get it locally. I checked our Michaels and they don't carry them yet.
I got it from Cord Camera. It is a chain of camera/scrapbooking stores in Ohio. My husband often gets me a gift cards from there. It was $39.99.

If anyone is interested, I have a few Big Bites left that I didn't sell at the crop last weekend. I can sell them to our regulars for $31 plus shipping in a flat rate priority box.
