Ok, I just ordered 2 years of pictures to get developed. Its just vacation too. There was around 400 pictures and it cost 50 then 22 for shipping. Walmart was the cheapest I could find at 9 cents a picture. That's not bad but the shipping is a killer. Where do you all get them printed cheaply at.
Sam's because our Walmart took out their photo dept. but the last time I went it was .14 cents a pic so you got a really good deal with that! Is it possible to get your pics AT the Walmart instead of having them shipped to you?
I have had nothing but problems with Wal-mart in the past so I vowed to never let them do my photos again. (I actually haven't stepped foot in a Wal-mart since being in Colorado and I am happy about it) Now I get mine printed at Walgreens which I have found to be cheaper than Wal-Mart. I signed up to get their weekly email deals and they usually send awesome coupons for printing.
I use CVS also.the bigger the quantity sometimes they have cheaper rates. I have used Walgreens, and i had to use Walgreens for my cruise pictures, because CVS's machine malfunctioned and couldn't make me a disc along with my prints. I have heard others use Shutterfly, but I am not familiar with them myself
I use Shutterfly almost exclusively. I have a print plan with them and pay ...hmmm..., less than 12 cents/pic? They occascionally have their print plans on sale and the price varies between 9-12 cents per pic. I load as I go and when they have a free shipping deal, I put in a huge order (they have a free shipping deal at least once every other month). I love shutterfly's quality-nothing in our area matches it PLUS they print matte pics, which for me is a MUST. They ship very fast and I've never had a problem with them. I've tried them all too-Sams, Wal-Mart, Target, CVS, Walgreens, and I can truly say Shutterfly is the best for me. If you look at reviews on line, all compare themselves to Shutterfly. They really put themselves out there as the gold standard for on-line printing.
I love their photobooks too, but that's another thread . Kathy

Arts.com and the like are good, but not great and really shouldn't be used if you want high quality picture. For run of the mill every day stuff, no problem. Remember to they are overseas, so it might take a tad longer to get to you. They do run deals and specials ALL THE TIME. The last time I looked, they had something like 50 free 4x6's and 50 free
5x7's a month for the year of 2009 (or something like that). It amounted to 500 free of each.
