CKC in Louisville

Just got back from the CKC in Louisville....ahead of the storms thank goodness. Had a great time. Two of us drove down on Thursday night to get an early start with 8:30 am classes. Then were joined by six more on Friday. I did an acrylic album class, two SEI classes, a year journal book class, a board book class and the Friday night crop. This was the first year for a CKC in Louisville so I think that's why the vendors fair was small. I was shocked that Basic Grey was not there, nor was Bazzill. There were more booths that sold laser cut overlays than anything else it seemed. I was looking for rub-ons for my granddaughters party pictures I was making in acrylic albums but could not find any at any booth there. Food was really an issue. There was only one food booth open at the convention center and it was a hotdog, nacho, popcorn stand. There was nothing close to walk to for food. A bottle of diet coke was $3. I refused to pay that. Thanks goodness our hotel shuttle picked us up and took us to Arby's. They were great. We could go anywhere within 5 minutes of the hotel and they operated 24 hours and even picked us and our rolling totes up at midnight after the crop. Sandy
