He Made It Home

... without any broken bones, but most importantly WITHOUT PICTURES! ARGH! Guess we'll have to og skiing at christmas for sure nwo LOL

Only broken bones coming home were ones broken BEFORE the trip... one of the boys had broke his hand in the last week or so.

Is it a good thing to have parents humming the theme song to the Magnificient Seven as your children exit the bus? Seems some of the older boys were referred to with that name.

So good to hear yu have him home safe and sound with lots of stories I am sure!!

LOL about the pictures. Last year when Molly went on her first Girl Scout camp out, we sent her with a disposable camer. She said "Uncle dave and Mommy, I promise I love to take pictures!!"

Well as they say, famous last words!! We asked her where the camera was and she said " I was so excited I forgot to take pctures, but I took one of the mud". The mud hole in front of her house.

Like Art Linkletter used to say "Kids say/do the dardest things", he was so right!!

Glad he made it home in one piece. I imagine it's hard to take pictures while you're skiing, though. Now you'll just have to find a reason to head to Switzerland!

So, glad they made it home safely. My kids don't get the pictures at camp I'd like to see. First year my daughter used up all the film in the bus on the way there. haha. Next year she took pictures of the birds at camp. Last year I told her exactly what I wanted! haha Just one picture of your cabin, maybe a cabin mate... pretty please.

Glad about the bones..but what a bummer that he didn't take any pictures! Perhaps some of the scouts did and you can get some of them?

Glad he is home without any injuries Susan and I feel your pain over the lack of photographs. I had a similar situation with my grandson last summer. He was going to camp with the school so I bought him a disposable camera and gave him instructions to get photos of the cabin, etc. Also to get someone to take photos of him doing the activities so we could make him some pages. When the film was developed everything was so dark or blurred except for two pictures he took of his Mum hanging out the washing in the backyard....ROFL Don't you just love kids....hahahaha
