Take it easy out there shopping with all the loonies! :-) I do have to send DH out sometime today to get eggs. Otherwise, we're going to be having cold cereal for breakfast tomorrow! Cold cereal for breakfast on Christmas day just isn't what I have in mind.

I'm so happy the recipe worked for you. For about 10 years now I've used this recipe to Gingerbread houses and cut out cookies and as you found out it is the perfect consistency for doing all that. PLUS it has no eggs in it so the kids like to eat pinches of the dough as we go along.

The embellishment I used on the page was that technique we talked about in the group about 6 weeks ago. Using a template on Mulberry paper. I won't be making $100 on ebay anytime soon, but I thought they turned out very cute.

Azzy, Good thing you are not here. You would have a hard time getting anywhere to shop! LOL ten inches of snow and ice. We were the lucky ones, too. In Indiana they got up to 30 inches !! It looks beautiul but I am glad I don't have to go anywhere! LOL My youngest daughter and I (she's 24) have baked cookies twice now and when she came over and saw the new recipes, she wanted to bake more! I said Oh no! But I do think there are some great recipes this time and such clever LOs. Have a great time shopping and Merry Christmas !!!!
