Hot card didn't work

So, yeah. The plastic wrap melted, enough to stick to the wax paper, but it didn't stick to the tissue paper or the card stock. How long do you have to iron it anyway? Or am I using the wrong kind of tissue paper, card stock, or plastic wrap?

I'm getting ready to make my hot card here in a few minutes. Did you use parchment paper also? You need to use parchment paper, plastic wrap, tissue paper, and cardstock.

Oh, oops, I used wax paper instead of parchment paper. Maybe that's why? Everything else was the same.

Definitely parchment paper needs to be used. The wax paper will get melted wax on your iron, ironing board and card.

Make a parchment paper sandwich

parchment paper piece of card stock you want to adhere the tissue paper to plastic wrap on top of card stock crinkled tissue paper right side up on plastic wrap and then parchment paper again

with VERY hot iron iron until the plastic wrap is melted and adhered. I didn't time it, but I did stop ironing too soon the first time. I re-ironed checking the adherence and then iron some more when not sticking. Keep ironing and checking until adhered. Doesn't take too long, but doesn't happen quickly either.

You can do it... Go Luna Go!

Hmmm, I used wax paper and it worked out fine. It took it a while to adhere. I had to keep checking it as well. Keep trying Luna!
