How much journalling do you usually do?

I decided to put my Florida scrapbook into chronological order and to date everything so I'd know when and where the pictures were taken... (I noticed one page where I just said 'last year...' and I didn't have any kind of date on it whatsoever!) One nice thing about using digital photos - John showed me how to find out exactly when the photos were taken by looking on the computer... so now everything is dated, and while I was at it I decided to do a lot more journalling and labelling in general. It's not all neat and pretty (just me scribbling away with a black gelpen) but at least it's there now!

I tend to keep post its with the photographs (horrors I know) but at least I know when and where the pictures were taken and my brief thoughts.

Lately I have to go with more than Sarah saying "fun adventure Tate" and pointing to the picture.

I usually forget the journaling on a page. I'm am getting better at doing the journaling. Some times a page just doesn't call for journaling but it is important to do. Lately I have found the journaling comes easy but coming up with a title is the tricky part. LOL!

I am trying to be better at journaling. I really dislike my handwriting and don't always feel like going to the computer so I skip it. Is it necessary to title pages? I find that many if not most of my pages aren't "titled". Will the scrapbook police come after me?! lol

I'm almost the opposite Kenda... I also hate my hand writing, but before I can stop myself I've written information on the page and want to smack my head. Cause I could have done it on the computer. Some pages I'll go to the trouble of doing the title and journaling on the computer and next thing you know I've picked up that darn black pen and have written on the page.

Just think that in years to come, someone will actually feel sentimental about the pages we do, especially hand written ones.
