I am so addicted

Within the last week I have come to relize (admit) that I am addicted to paper, pattern paper. I see everything in the form of paper. Watching the Yankee game I made the comment how the pattern on the field would make great paper. I see peoples shirts/clothing in the form of being a pattern paper. The worst is I bought a package of underwear and the one pattern would make a great pattern for paper. Maybe I'm on to much medication (only an antibotic) or I have really lost my mind and need to get back to work. Anyone else have this problem? I'm sure I'm not the only one....so I hope.

Ummmm... is the antibiotic a very strong one? Maybe I'm the one that isn't creative enought, yup that must be it. I look at the world as a painter and wish i had the talent to render it on canvas.

I have to admit I've done the same thing. I even look at ads, billboards or commercials and think that they would make a great layout or page element! There is an ad for a local grocery store that would make a great page title. I just have to figure out how to duplicate it on a page. I guess you can see scrapbooking in anything.

LOL Chrissy! I love to hear that! I see everything as a LO. I was studying a scene recently while with my DD and she said "oh no! You are NOT seeing this as a scrapbook layout!!" I just looked at her and nodded my head while grinning diabolicly. As in the words of Ted and Bill, Party on ,dudes! LOL Sab

I look at things all the time and think of how I could use it for my scrapping, or cards or whatever. Sometimes I overwhelm myself with ideas and wish I had the time to write it all down so I can remember it later! Glad to know I am not alone here too...lol Linda C

I must admit that I do this not just for scrapbooking but mainly for quilts. Coming back from Memphis in August my Mom and I said at the same time, "Oh we need a picture of the Interstate, it would make a great mini wall quilt!" The road had been patched a number of times and the cement was of course a bunch of different colors, very "abstract". We are just talented and creative people, we're not crazy!

The dr. changed my medicine today so lets see what happens next. LOL! Glad that you all were able to relate to this. It helps to know I haven't lost my mind completly.....yet.

Yes, One day at work I looked at a woman and told her how I had scrapbook paper that looked just like her scrubtop (I work in healthcare). Luckily she is into making cards and she said "me too". I think we both realized we were a little crazy..lol...

Oh yeah - I do that too. Or see something and think of a layout for the scene (even, gasp, if I don't have a camera!!). yeah - i think its part of the floozy/flass etc affliction. And you know what - I am OK with that! :)
